My local supermarket, Publix had the most amazing avocados on sale for $1 - let's just say I stocked up! Guacamole is one of my favorite dips and spreads for sandwiches, here is how I make it:
Ingredients:
1 Hass Avacado
1/4 tbs. Onion powder
1/4 tbs. Garlic powder
Pinch of Kosher salt (to taste)
1 tbs. Pace (NEW YORK CITY!) Salsa medium
1 tbs. Sour Cream
Directions:
Place all dry and wet ingredients in dish to combine with avocado slices. Mash, serve and enjoy!
Do you read The Pioneer Woman? She's amazing. Lives on a ranch, home schools 4 kids, cooks and blogs several times a day, wrote a cookbook, and travels doing book tours.
ReplyDeleteHer pico de gallo is awesome and she adds that to avocado. It's really good and so fresh. But my personal fav is restaurant style salsa. Careful reading archives: she does not cook light.
